I will be participating in Ostrale’012 international art exhibition showing 3 photographic pieces from the series “traces”. The exhibition will take place at the historic Hans Erlwein Slaughterhouse area in Dresden from 13-7 to 16-9-2012.

Pictures from the 14-07-2011 protest against the mistreatment of the confiscated munitions from the Cypriot Government that lead to the explosion on the 11-07-2011 and the deaths of 13.

Shameful is the fact that when peaceful protests take place the media don’t find that interesting enough to properly cover the event. I guess peaceful is not dramatic enough to make good TV.

Oh. And next time, please don’t forget the lights.
(the street lights were deliberately off at the start of the demonstration and were later switched on after the people demanded it)

this banner was removed by the next morning when the day shots were captured. it said: “Leave the last tree to hang yourselves. Killers”

trees cut to make way for a monstrosity in Plateia Eleftherias, Nicosia, Cyrpus.

shame.

for an illustration of the contrast, in this picture by Christopher Rose, one can see the luscious trees that were part of the square. the point of view for my panorama pictures was right in front of the white railing that can be seen in both mine and Christopher’s image.

i will be participating in the Ostrale ’11, an international art exhibition held yearly in Dresden, Germany. my interactive installation “Subject to change” will be shown as part of the IAM (international art moves) exhibition section.

the purpose of this is to animate the fan in flash, so some work needed to be done.

after my friend Lars pointed out that i should try “can i get” google autofill this rather disturbing result appeared.

the design used is from my sketchbook

this is part of  interactive installation “Subject to change” that was presented at Ostrale’011, an international art exhibition held yearly at Dresden, Germany.

at one point at uni i had to take some fairly boring classes.

and that sparked this idea for the book sticker, as opposed to the bumper sticker.

and it read:

one day i thought to myself  “should i start a blog?” imidiate answer was “and what are you gonna do with a blog?” then i figured “well, start the thing and then figure it out.”

so i did.

and here we are.
